What Does it Mean for a Vinyl Pool Liner to be CFFA Compliant?
And Why Should I Care?
Our Liners have been CFFA Compliant for Decades
20 years ago, O’Sullivan Films (the parent company of H2Okay) went to the Chemical Films and Fabrics Association (CFFA) and asked them as an independent 3rd Party to help the pool industry develop a “Quality Specification” defining what makes a quality, long lasting vinyl pool liner.
All Liners are NOT Created Equal
Why did we do that? Then and now, there’s an influx of “off-shore” vinyl liners that were/are sub quality and potentially giving the Vinyl Pool Industry a “black eye”. The old axiom of “you get what you pay for” has never been more important.
Made in Winchester Virginia
After 20 years, H2Okay can still proudly states that our “SP” Quality Liners still meet or exceed CFFA compliance.
How can we do this? We make our vinyl “from scratch” at our factory in Winchester, VA where we control everything from; Design, Formulation, Development, and Manufacturing.

A Little About the CFFA…
THE CHEMICAL FABRICS AND FILM ASSOCIATION is an international trade association representing manufacturers of polymer-based fabric and film products, used in the building and construction, automotive, fashion and many other industries.
CFFA represents many of the world’s leading manufacturers of chemical fabrics and film. The organization was established in 1927 to achieve the following objectives:
- Creation of industry standards for quality
- To encourage the development and adoption of product standards and specifications
- To support research, technical and scientific investigations
- To educate consumers on the uses and benefits of chemical fabrics and film
In addition to the research, marketing and regulatory activities of each division, CFFA also maintains active committees dedicated to technical and environmental issues, membership, manufacturing and other topics of interest to the industry.
